Dr. Stephen C. Nemeth

Dr. Nemeth is a board-certified anesthesiologist who has been with the Department of Anesthesiology at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center since 2006. He went to the University of Florida for his undergraduate degree and received his Medical Degree from the University of South Florida. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of Virginia Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He then headed west for Residency training in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at UCLA.

His interests include operating room safety, management of the difficult airway, and educating rotating residents and medical students. He has given lectures at both Olive View Medical Center and at UCLA on operating room safety and fires in the operating room. Dr. Nemeth is also interested in patient flow, operating room efficiency and resource utilization.

Dr. Nemeth's outside interests include currently working on achieving a certificate of Business Administration from the American Society of Anesthesiologists. In addition, he serves as the representative for the Department of Anesthesiology on the CPR committee, Disaster committee, and Medical Records committee.
