Dr. Yuen ventured to the greater Los Angeles for his Anesthesiology residency training at UCLA medical center in the summer of 2001. Since then he has not looked back. In 2005 joined the Olive View Anesthesiology team and began teaching young medical students in the operating room with exciting hands-on experience to complement a basic introductory understanding to the fundamentals of the field. With the advent of the 4 week UCLA anesthesiology resident rotation, Dr. Yuen now helps mold the minds of eager young physicians into knowledgeable, proficient and compassionate anesthesiologists.

Grass roots the great plains states, Dr. Yuen originally earned an undergraduate degree in the field of Chemical Engineering at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was able to apply his training at an exciting year working for Anheuser Busch. He helped engineer expansion projects in the Fort Collins, Colorado and Van Nuys, CA breweries. But still yearning to fullfill some deeper sense of accomplishment and contribution to humanity, a young Timothy Yuen enrolled at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL.

In his free time, Dr. Yuen mostly enjoys rock climbing and snowboarding--and in this beautiful state can do both in the same weekend!! He loves to travel both domestically and internationally, and spends many of his free weekends in the eastern sierras.
