Dr. Mehdi Memarzadeh

Dr. Memarzadeh was born in Iran in 1944 and completed his undergraduate and medical education in Tehran University, School of Medicine. He moved to the United States in 1972 and completed his residency at the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh in 1976. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Memarzadeh pursued a one year fellowiship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

In 1976, Dr. Memarzadeh moved back to Iran and practiced at the Cardiovascular Medical Center in Tehran until 1989. Dr. Memarzadeh returned to the United States that year to practice at St. Francis Central Hospital in Pittsburgh, and later at Mt. Lebanon Surgical Center where he served as Medical Director of the Anesthesia Department.

Dr. Memarzadeh moved to California in 2002 and has since been practicing at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Memarzadeh is active in several professional and scientific societies including the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American College of Anesthesiologists, and the California Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Memarzadeh is skilled in the practice of: Major Vascular and Thoracic Anesthesia, Cardiac Anesthesia, Obstetrical Anesthesia, Pediatric Anesthesia, Ambulatory Anesthesia, and Acute Pain Management.

Dr. Memarzadeh is fluent in English, Farsi, and Azari Turkish.
