Born and raised in Los Angeles, Marla received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge. Most of her career has been in the financial industry; however, she decided to make a career change and work in the Health Services industry, which brought her to Olive View – UCLA Medical Center.

In her free time, Marla enjoys serving the community. She assists with providing Christmas gifts to kids who have a parent in prison, she helps make Binkie blankets for seniors, and she volunteers weekly at an animal rescue center. She also enjoys traveling throughout the United States.
