Dr. Keyes is originally from the scenic East Tennessee valley. He completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, where he discovered a love of sports and travel. After graduating college, he spent a year living and teaching English in Ecuador through the Worldteach program and learned Spanish.

Dr. Keyes then attended medical school in Houston at Baylor College of Medicine. He pursued his anesthesia residency at UCLA, where he was elected chief resident in 2006.

Since leaving residency, Dr. Keyes has worked exclusively at Olive View, where he serves as CME director for the Department of Anesthesiology and as the department’s representative of the ICU committee. In his spare time Dr. Keyes enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and biking, travel, Australian Rules football, and of course, time with his fiancee Jamie.
